On Sunday, September 18th I was working as the Team Lead for the second service. At approx. 1050 hours, Kelly Byers requested assistance on the safety channel reference a male subject who was inappropriately making contact with one of our pastors in front of the Edge. I believe she made reference to the subject as Len Reicher. I am familiar with Len and know that he has been admonished by Pastor Susan Trueblood not to confront or harass pastors while attending services. I contacted Len as he was walking briskly eastward in the plaza, in the area of the cafe. Len told me he was leaving the campus and I walked with him toward the parking lot. I reminded him that he is welcome to attend services but is not allowed to bother our pastors as explained to him by Susan Trueblood. Len told me he did not want to talk to me and was leaving the campus. I escorted Len to his vehicle and then returned to the campus.
I later reviewed video footage which showed Len enter the campus through the main entrance at approx. 10:46 am. He was driving a tan Hyundai CaLic#4XRW112. He parked in Lot B and then walked toward the front entrance near the palm trees. At Approx. 1050 hours, another video shows Len and I walking past the cafe toward the parking lot. There is no video of the encounter between Len and Pastor Andrew Polfer.
I spoke to Pastor Andrew Polfer who told me that he was talking to a few people outside the Edge when Len approached and called him a Liar and said that he (Len) was not stalking him. He made reference to Susan being a liar as well and then walked away. Len returned shortly after and said something to the effect that maybe Andrew was a liar. He then walked away and left the campus.
