Anja found Lindsey who appeared to be distraught on a bike trail earlier in the day. Lindsey was upset at her current living situation at home where her parents are very controlling and playing “mind games” with her. OPD was called to the house earlier and found no threat of physical violence, and it sounded like they determined it was a civil matter.
Anja brought Lindsey to NC Vista campus to see if we operated a domestic violence shelter; she was advised that NC doesn’t run a shelter.
