On Friday, April 17th, I received a Teams message from Pastor Kameron Drawhorn at the Carlsbad Campus. Kameron forwarded me a message he received from Kerry Sarris, who attends the North Coast Carlsbad Campus. Kerry believed that her vehicle was struck while parked in the east parking lot on Wednesday, April 15th between 9-11 am while she was attending the Women’s Study. Kerry sent Kameron a picture of her 2013 Hyundai Sonata Ca 6XLH149, which showed moderate scrapes to the left rear quarter panel. Kerry inquired if there was a way to review video footage.
Jon Fecteau reviewed footage of the above date and time and captured what appeared to be a large white SUV pull into the space directly next to the Hyundai. As the SUV made a left turning motion into the space, it appeared the right front side of the vehicle struck the left rear section of the Hyundai. The Hyundai moved slightly as if bumped while parked in the space. We determined the driver of the white SUV was Lisa Norquist.
On Wednesday, May 6th, I met with Kerry Sarris and Lisa Norquist individually and showed them video footage of the accident. I provided contact information for Lisa Norquist to get in touch with Kerry & Paul Sarris. The video footage will be stored in the Safety database. No further action taken.
