On 09/29/24, prior to the beginning of the 9 AM service, Edge Venue Pastor Romeo Dalmacio placed his sunglasses and Yeti mug on the counter of one of the kiosks in the Edge lobby. When he returned to collect the items, his sunglasses were gone. The safety team was alerted to the incident towards the end of the service.
Team Lead Greg Flood accompanied Dalmacio to the team office to review video surveillance footage. At 0854 hours, a bald-headed white male, 40-50 years old, wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans is seen approaching the kiosk. He took a pen with one hand while discretely taking the sunglasses with the other. The subject then took a seat in the back of the Edge.
Unfortunately identification of the subject was not made until the service was ending and attendees were dispersing. Safety team members made and effort to locate the subject but were unable to do so. The subject was seen on video in possession of a motorcycle helmet. However, due to technical issues with the cameras, no vehicle was immediately identified.
