Deb Grady noticed a White Ford Explorer parked in the movement lane just east of the east parking lot entrance. Deb Grady, John Harrison and myself made contact with the sleeping driver. After telling the driver they were parked in a movement lane they repositioned the car to a parking stall. While talking to the driver it appeared they were under the influence of drugs/alcohol. I asked STAR to contact the sheriff’s department to evaluate the driver’s condition. Deb Grady contacted CHP for a possible quicker response. We were concerned the driver would leave the complex before law enforcement arrived. CHP was first on the scene and the sheriff department was cancelled. CHP arrested the driver for DUI and towed the vehicle. CHP Officer Samuel Newman is requesting any video the church may have of the vehicle entering the complex.
