Describe Medical Event:
Attendee called 911 for her mother in law because of suspected stroke without our teams knowledge. Fire Department arrived and we were alerted of their presence from STAR. I tried to follow up with both the FD and the attendee who called. FD have no report, the attendee stated, “I called because she needed to go to the hospital- I thought she may be having a stroke. I’m an ED nurse.” The attendee then walked away.
