Describe Medical Event:

A 5 year old girl was getting herself some hot chocolate being served in a plastic coffee dispenser and spilled it on her right forearm and shirt. Her mom took her to the bathroom to put it under cold water from the sink. The house manager, Lindsey Marsolais, and a friend also helped. Lindsey called Safety over the radio and I met her by the bathroom.

Safety got some washcloths to soak in cool water so the girl could keep them in her arm. When the mom brought the girl out, safety took a look. The girl was crying and her arm was a little pink but didn’t appear to be bad. Mom thought she was in a little pain and scared, but otherwise ok.

The girl had also spilled the hot chocolate on her donut, which we replaced at her request.

Mom took her home and was going to keep an eye on it. She said they would go to the doctor if it didnt get better today.
