Describe Medical Event:

Brett and Genaro are friends and attended the Jordan service inside the Edge. At the end of the service, both individuals exited the building and went out to the plaza. Genaro attempted to pick up Brett but in doing so, his back gave out and they both fell to the ground. Brett hit his head on the concrete and sustained an abrasion & bruise on the left side of this forehead as well as swelling and a small cut behind his left ear. Genaro complained of pain to his lower back. Brett was given ice for his forehead but neither subject wanted paramedics to respond. Brett complained of blurred vision so I took him by golf cart to the Admin Building where Safety Medical member Naomi Roth was working in the Children’s department. Naomi assessed Brett and gave him instruction on how to ice his head as well as to seek medical attention for a possible concussion.

I drove Brett back to the plaza and picked up a friend who had already called his parents and were making arrangements to go immediately to Urgent Care. I helped Brett into the passenger seat of his vehicle. I contacted Genaro and a friend and gave them a ride to Genaro’s car. Genaro once again declined any medical attention and said he would seek medical attention on his own.
