Child fell, hit head on door jam or possibly chair?, cut forehead

Volunteer staff Suzie witnessed Andrew fall forward on hard laminate floor, striking his face on the floor. He did not cry, yet appeared in a bit of pain. I was called to see him within minutes.

Grant is a part of our Tear-Down Team and was pulling a pipe and drape cart. The cart started going a little faster than anticipated and clipped the back of his heel (flat tired him). It cut a pretty decent gash in his heel and was bleeding a lot. Since it was so long after church, the safety and medical team had gone home, but luckily Blake Compton (our Worship Pastor, but works full-time as a Nurse) was still on site and could help out.

3 year old was playing and tripped over a toy, bumping his head. Small swelling on forehead visible.

Per Caleb-His brother was playing with a golf club when his brother took a swing, striking him in the bridge of his nose with the golf club. The brother reported this was an accident. He has full recall of the event, and there is no loss of consciousness. He states his nose immediately started to bleed and medical personnel was requested by church staff member.

While playing child struck head on desk and immediately started crying, no LOC. When distracted child stopped crying and was acting appropriately. Father came and took child.

On 10/27/2024, at about 1020 hours, NCC Safety was requested to respond to the 2 and 3 year-old room for two injured children that were injured while playing with a plastic propellor. I responded and spoke with Brenden Ponce (volunteer) who told me she witnessed the incident. He explained that Logan James and Beckham Saint-Amour were both playing with a plastic propeller toy and were taking turns winding it up. While they were doing this, the propeller launched up in the air and struck Logan in near his right eye causing minor swelling near his eye. At the same time, Beckham ran into Logan and had a complaint of pain to his right thumb.

As I was treating Logan and Beckham for their minor injuries, Finan Schleft was sitting about 10 feet from me and playing with a plastic toy dinosaur. He yelled out and began crying. We walked over to see what was wrong and he also had minor swelling near his right eye. It appeared he accidently struck himself near his eye with the dinosaur toy.
