Mom and child sitting on curb. Child hyperventilating. Mom explained pt is in counseling and therapist began new treatment this week for past severe emotional trauma in this adopted child. Episode began about 30 min prior with pt telling mom he felt scared and feet tingling. Pt began breathing fast and became more upset. Mom is nurse-she tried walking around outside w pt w/o help. Mom had texted therapist and was waiting return text. Therapist had said he might get panic attacks. Pt was hugging mom and visibly hyperventilating and had tears. He said he felt bad all over. Checked pulse and was normal. Respirations were increased but with no response distress. Sent uc. As l shoulder injury. His left middle finger was injured. Although he was wearing a hand brace following a recent left shoulder service there appeared to be a compound fracture because of accompanying small amount of hemorrhage. 23 Fell playing wall ball Milana was playing and was accidentally hit on the left side of her upper lip.
